Biography
I specialize in the study and use of the latest forms of digital communication. During my studies I explored issues related to discrimination within society at a sociological and communicative level, with a focus on those aimed at the LGBTQ+ community. I obtained my three-year degree in Communication Sciences and Technologies at the University of Ferrara with a thesis entitled "Not for hate but for love, causes and effects of the phenomenon of homophobia and empirical research in territory of Ferrara". I then obtained my master's degree in Digital Communication at the University of Pavia, researching the potential of the videogame medium in conveying strong awareness messages. I combined this last theme with what I studied during the years in Ferrara and I wrote the thesis "The rainbow bit: sexual orientations and gender identity in videogame products".
In this Prin project I manage the digital platforms and the creation of content for the dissemination and valorisation of the results that will be published at the end of the research.
